Fairy Tales
January
For the month of January we are reading the Traditional Tales in our reading time. The books have a story at the front and a play at the back. We have been recording our plays with an app called Audioboo. The children have been practicing how to play around with expression in their voices as they read. Listen to their stories and how well they are doing!!

We have been reading a bunch of versions of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We were discussing how the 3 bears felt about Goldilocks being in their house and eating their food and using their chairs and beds. Our class each wrote a letter to Goldilocks telling her how we felt. They had a choice to pretend they were Father Bear, Mother Bear or Baby Bear. They didn't sign the letter because we thought it would be fun for you to guess which bear wrote it from listening to the words and the expression in the children's voices.
